Seems like a few times every year, I get around to updating this thing. I need to get a digital camera, that would help.
Got a huge dump of snow a while back, but it never made it up north. Found out that Snowbird is buried, though. Perfect timing as normal. I'm actually getting excited about the springtime. I'm getting a little fed up with the snow on the streets, as nice as it looked when it fell. Since it didn't hit the mountains, it doesn't do me much good.
The Red Sox start playing baseball this week, so it looks like I can see the warmth at the end of the tunnel.
Just got back from Sugarbush, snowboarding with Big T, the Fatman, and the NYC posse. I highly recommend the Castle Rock chair, even if it does have low throughput. It was pretty windy on Sunday morning, and I figured that it would turn out to be the worst day ever. After grumbling around on the first run up the lift though, I ran into the Bad Seed and had made contact with the Fatman. That perked my spirits up, as did news that Gatehouse was running, but I still had to face the blowing wind on the trip down to Castlerock. It pretty much stopped you in your tracks. Big T's bindings crapped out, so she split off to get some repairs and I ended up meeting Fatman and Bad Seed for an awesome trip down Castlerock Run. It turned the whole weekend around.
Back in Cambridge, it's supposed to rain.
